Scientific Services

Northern Rivers Toxicology Pty Ltd is able to test any substance it receives (directly or through partner laboratories), and can verify drug testing devices to AS/NZS 4308:2023 and/or AS/NZS 4760:2019.

Our spikes are usually limited to the default substances included in the Australian Standards however we are always happy to obtain specialised substances (i.e. add Oxycodone to a urine spike, or add opioids like Tramadol to an oral fluid spike).

We also perform 'meth testing' of homes due to our close relationship with ResTech Laboratories. Sadly this is becoming a must do for landlords, real estate agencies, or even buyers.

Expert Witness

Our Principal Toxicologist, Daniel Patterson, appears as an expert in complex criminal and civil trials.

Daniel is able to accept briefs for the following courts:
